maria and randy
The moody, academia-inspired vibe of this wedding transformed the Natural History Museum in Los Angeles into an enchanting setting. The reception even featured a T-Rex wandering around during cocktail hour! Adding to the flair, the event took place on the eve of the couple's favorite holiday, Halloween.
The art deco-inspired invitation set the tone for the wedding, with stars at the top of the invitation nodding to those on Maria's wedding dress. Favors included an evil eye ornament, a custom guitar pick, and a Japanese Daruma doll—personal gifts that paid homage to Maria's Greek heritage, Randy's love of music, and Maria's time living in Japan.
Moonbeam Weddings worked closely with Maria and Randy to create this one-of-a-kind evening. Every element tied into the art deco decor and the autumnal color palette, featuring maroons, off-whites, oranges, and golds.
The Natural History Museum of LA stole the show! Tying the knot amidst the museum's magical backdrop was unforgettable. The fossils added a unique element to both the ceremony and reception. The table settings were designed to create a moody yet elegant vibe, perfectly complementing the venue. And of course, the invitation set the tone for it all!
